at least i got smart at about 11.47 and realized my day was shot..
the only good thing that came out of today is that i got the same exact ticketing for tomorrow so i cut my losses and will have more time with lani when i get there

So Elizabeth! The train actually left your station at 12:15! Yes, that would be 8 hours and 13 minutes late. Yes, I was just pissed enough at Amtrak to keep checking. Just because. Bastages. And their so-called customer service bites it. I called 4 times, I got one actual caring and polite human being and 3 people who if I were running the Amtrak customer service department would be out on the sidewalk so fast their heads would spin. Let's keep our fingers crossed for tomorrow!

Oh wow! I can't believe the hell you're going through over a damned train ride! I had one issue the first night/morning with a dumbass ticket agent who screwed my whole thing up, but it got worked out eventually. One of my trains was late though, also due to a broken down train in front of it lol.
Keeping my fingers crossed for tomorrow! Sending out positive train energies for you! Ya'll give me a shout once you're here and relaxed =)
